My name is Neil Simon. I was born in Guyana, and for over 5 years, Etobicoke North was where I lived, worked, served, and built lasting relationships. Though I no longer live in the riding, I still have close family who do- and that keeps me deeply connected to the heart and soul of this community.
As a small business owner and a community leader, I’ve dedicated my life to serving people—whether through creating jobs, helping families in need, or offering guidance and hope when it was needed most. I’ve seen firsthand the challenges our seniors face, the dreams our youth hold onto, and the everyday struggles of hardworking families trying to make ends meet.
I’m running as an Independent candidate because I believe real leadership means being guided by people—not politics. My loyalty is to the residents of Etobicoke North. I have the freedom to put your needs first and the courage to speak up without waiting for party approval.
What I stand for:
Affordable housing and protection for renters
Safer streets and reliable, accessible public transit
Support for seniors with dignity and care
Youth programs that offer mentorship, skills, and real opportunity
Leadership with compassion, integrity, and action
Etobicoke North helped shape who I am today. It’s where I learned the true meaning of service and the power of community. I’m running to give back, be a voice for those who feel unheard, and work toward real change that makes life better for everyone.
I’m Neil Simon. A small business owner. A community leader. A neighbour who cares. Let’s build a stronger Etobicoke North—together.
