Biographie
Andrea Kaiser was born and raised in Niagara as the daughter of immigrants of Italian and Austrian descent. She has spent her adult life working to grow our local economy and strengthen our community as a business leader, Niagara regional councillor, former three-term municipal councillor, and active community volunteer.
As a business leader, Andrea has spent 25 years working to open new export markets in Europe and the Pacific region for 100 per cent Canadian-made products, especially Canadian icewine. She is also the Proprietor of Drea’s Wine Company, a critically acclaimed 100 per cent Ontario-made wine brand. Her commercial experience is relevant now more than ever as we Canadians look to diversify our trading partnerships to rely less on the United States and to build the strongest economy in the G7.
As a Niagara Regional Councillor, Andrea has worked tirelessly to strengthen critical public services, enhance community safety, and prevent wasteful giveaways of taxpayers’ money to wealthy developers. She is a strong advocate at the Region for working families, seniors, and farmers.
As our Member of Parliament, Andrea will defend Canada against Trump’s unjustified and harmful tariffs and his threats to our sovereignty. She is committed to reducing the cost of living, making homeownership more affordable, and building a strong local economy with high-paying jobs right here in Niagara.
On a personal level, Andrea is a single mother of two adult children (AN Myer alumni!) and an adorable pup named Millie. In her spare time, she loves to garden, cook and spend time with family and friends. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts (History & Politics) from the University of Guelph.
Andrea is a bridge builder. Through her nearly 15 years in local politics, she earned a reputation for working with people from different political parties to deliver real change for Niagara. She is able to bring people together because she values local democracy, honesty — and results.
