"This $50 million commitment will cover the operating costs for the Confederation Bridge which is currently paid for with tolls. It will end the unfair tax that Islanders have to pay just to leave their own province, keeping more of their money in their pockets." — conservative.ca, retrieved 2025-04-17

Allow Canadians to contribute an extra $5,000/year to Tax-Free Savings Accounts, so long as the money supports Canadian companies

"Nothing about Canadians’ existing TFSAs would change. The existing $7,000 limit would remain, but Canadians will now be able to contribute up to an additional $5,000 a year, if that money supports Canadian companies that employ Canadian workers and pay Canadian taxes. The tax system already defines Canadian investments, and a Poilievre government will create a definition that lets financial institutions and advisors label which stocks, mutual funds and other investments can go into your Canada First TFSA Top-Up." — conservative.ca, retrieved 2025-04-17

Raison de la candidature

soumis par le candidat ou son équipe
I've been involved in politics for years, first as a campaign manager, then a Legislative Assistant in Ottawa, then as a Vernon City Councillor. The platform as Member of Parliament will allow me to help make the kind of structural changes we need to give the next generation.

Over seven years on Vernon city council I proved time after time that I’m not afraid to tackle tough problems or take a leadership role when it’s needed. If you elect me as your Member of Parliament, I intend to run a riding office that puts people first and gets things done, and in Ottawa I’ll make sure your concerns are heard and do my best to make sure they’re acted on.

I’m a veteran, small business owner, and former two term Vernon city councillor. I’m also a father, husband, and dog lover. From oil rigs to boardrooms to classrooms to public office, I’ve always tried to keep one foot in the blue collar and another in the white collar world, so I understand the struggles people from all walks of life are living through.

Families are struggling and prices are rising. The Conservative Party will stop the Liberal tax-and-spend policies, reduce regulation, and unleash the potential of Canadians so our kids can have a future here at home in Canada.
